Revolver, the 2010 film from Poor Boyz Productions, presented by Salomon focuses on the progression and the factors that have coincided with many great advancements of the sport of skiing. (Over the last decade skiing has exploded into what we know it is today. But skiing has had many trying moments long before the end of the 20th century.) This season Poor Boyz Productions plans to showcase today’s raw talents of skiing in a high action, retrospective, yet progressive look at what things are pushing the sport today.

BUT: Let me add this: This film focuses on the progression and factors and everything that pushed skiing forward. The influences, the riders, the tech, everything.. And there’s no Mike Douglas at all? I mean, Mike is ski himself. The creator of the twin-tip. The guy with Shane who brought park tricks onto the big mountain riding. Who’s not pioneer and huge influencer and inspirator for skiing, if not Mike Douglas and Shane McConkey.

Venture Out is a 4 minute-cut video edit depicting Telluride in Colorado. It’s not a video with riders doing sick tricks or anything. It’s about the whole life-styfe in Telluride, from the town to powder sessions in the backcountry.

It definitely deserves your time.

It’s shot and edited in the winter of 2009 in collaboration with the Telluride Visitors Center, Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association, Telluride Ski Resort and Telluride Mountainfilm in hopes of giving viewers a soulful, non-commercial look at the winter experience in Telluride. Filmed & edited by Ben Knight + music by Explosions in the Sky.

A short video we produced in a couple of days in order to kill our time waiting for the lift and some “papers”.

Well, this might be one the best teaser I’ve seen in a while — or even, ever. The music is epic, the footage is epic.

The project consists of two movies: The main film features the epic riding on epic locations. Finally acentral european movie, ready to compete with the big productions. The secondfilm contains a season-dairy from the atlethes point of view and mainly focuseson german speaking upcomers. We wanted to realise that project for years and are sure, that we have delivered a good base for further european projects

Both movies are free and will bedistributed through Skiing Magazin (Print), and will be downloadable throughout the web. The faces behind the cameras are Max and Mo Garhammer, sons of skiingledgend Fuzzy Garhammer as well as Fabi Hyden, representing the Headbud Crew.
